Entrepreneurs are often sold the myth that, in order to be successful, you have to have it all together, to not need any help. We’re encouraged to hide our flaws and our questions. But this myth simply isn’t true.  It’s in our nature as humans to both need help ourselves and to want to help others. And it's when you embrace this truth you can move your business forward in ways you may have thought impossible.

Dan Stewart, Founder and CEO (that is, Chief Enchantment Officer) of Happy Grasshopper is a perfect example of someone who has lived both giving and receiving help. Dan's transparency regarding the human side of being an entrepreneur is both refreshing and encouraging. In this episode, Dan shares about his youth, and the value of role rejection to help people get what they want. We go on to discuss the importance of forging relationships, the evidence of core values, and how to be properly savage with ourselves.

“I truly believe if we ask for help, we’re going to get it… It’s in our human nature to help one another. I’ve certainly been helped by countless people.” -- Dan Stewart
